No Better Way to "Celebrate" Black Friday!
I love Arrows In Action, so they could just stand on the stage and I'd be pretty satisfied. The instruments were louder than the vocals. Ditto for Arrows In Action. Both bands were on point and I wish they had an opportunity to jam a little more. Big Sexy seemed a little hoarse and Ron was a little flat. Terisa is the consummate performer and, for the most part, I enjoyed her set. The sound mix was a bit off and it was difficult hearing her at times. I bought tix the day of concert; not too far back in mezzanine, slightly to the right. There are really no bad seats @ Star Plaza but some, of course, are better than others. Jimmie JJ Walker is not now nor has he ever been funny, but I deal with him as the annual emcee. Otis' solo could be eliminated but, after all, he is still the only original Temp. I could barely hear the bass singer and Terry seems to be the only Temp really into the dance steps. (Oh God, I hate that chicken wing flapping step they do!) There were dozens of vacant main floor seats but, for some reason, they were not available thru Ticketmaster. Do I sound critical? Well, I am BUT I STILL HAD A BALL and will be back next year, Lord willing!
